Commission renews CivicPlus website hosting contract at $12,305; 3% annual increase noted

Butler County commissioners approved a one-year renewal of the county’s CivicPlus website hosting and support agreement on Tuesday at a total cost of $12,305.28.
Lou Harter, the county IT director, asked the commission to authorize renewal and allow staff to sign purchase documents. “This renewal continues our hosting and support with them for another year,” Harter said, adding he was satisfied with CivicPlus’s service. He told the commission the contract price represents a 3% increase over last year and that the expense is budgeted in the information-technology contractual fund.
A motion to approve the renewal and authorize staff to sign purchase documents passed unanimously.
