Planning commission approves conditional use for homestyle assisted-living project in SF-2 neighborhood

Springdale planning commissioners voted 8–0 Sept. 2 to approve a conditional-use permit allowing Homes for Halos LLC to operate a small, homestyle assisted-living residence in an SF-2 neighborhood.The applicants, Allison Theobald and Sean Theobald, told commissioners they plan an intimate assisted-living residence focused on memory care with a caregiver ratio of about 5-to-1 or 6-to-1, and said their goal is to prioritize residents’ independence and safety. "We just have a passion for the elderly community," Allison Theobald said during the presentation.
