Mr. Rasmussen said the city posted the required public-notice materials seven days before a scheduled public hearing; staff said the posting occurred prior to 5 p.m. on the day of the council meeting and that the public hearing will be held in council chambers prior to the grant deadline. Jim Grieving of the regional planning commission will assist with the public hearing and grant materials, staff said. City staff encouraged interested residents to attend the scheduled hearing and review the grant materials that are now public information.
