Because city staff was the applicant, staff asked for the council to wait until a full council could consider the matter. Council members moved and seconded a motion to table bill 6504, and the motion to table passed. The item will return when a full council can take it up.
No substantive changes to the ordinance were adopted during the meeting; the council did not vote on the ordinance itself and took no action other than tabling the bill.
