Town Square concerts, student artwork and September tribute announced for Task Fair Park

A member of the Parks and Trails Commission said many people attended the recent Friday concert at Town Square and thanked city staff and volunteers for logistical support during a very warm day. The commission announced the next concert is scheduled for Aug. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. and will feature the band Nuvo. The commission also said the city will dedicate new tunnel artwork created by students and teachers at Principia.
Separately, staff said installation of a military and first‑responder tribute in Task Fair Park is on track to begin in September; staff asked residents to watch for more announcements.
