Town and Country โ The Board of Aldermen on Sept. 8 approved two land-division actions: an ordinance authorizing permanent open-space modifications and amending plats 2 and 3 of Van Dyver Place subdivision, and an ordinance authorizing a boundary adjustment plat for Lots 8A and 8B of DuPont Lane.
Why it matters: Both measures alter recorded plats and authorize the recorder of deeds to accept revised instrument filings, which affect property lines and protected natural-resource limits within the subdivisions.
Bill number 25-38, concerning Van Dyver Place, passed on second reading and was recorded as ordinance 4709. During discussion, an alderman thanked a resident, identified in the record as Mr. Carpel, for a detailed document review that aided the process. Bill number 25-39, approving the DuPont Lane boundary adjustment plat, passed unanimously and became ordinance 4710.
Both actions were approved by roll-call vote without recorded amendments. The city clerk will forward the authorized plats for recording in the Saint Louis County Recorder of Deeds office as specified in the ordinances.
