The Board of Aldermen approved Resolution R25-38 authorizing a cooperative agreement with the Grain Valley Chamber of Commerce for the same $10,000 annual contribution the city has provided in recent years. Aldermen moved and seconded the resolution during the resolutions portion of the meeting. City staff noted that Chamber representative Oderine had previously presented a report to the board and that this action authorizes the city administrator to sign the annual agreement. The vote was recorded in the meeting as an approval; no recorded dissents were spoken during the voice vote. The resolution authorizes the city to continue the established funding level for the chamber partnership.
