The three ordinances are: a cost-share agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation for eligible conference costs; a CCTV and communications equipment attachment agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MoDOT); and authorization for the city to enter into and execute national opioid settlement agreements regarding Purdue Pharma LP and the Sackler family.
A motion to set the consent agenda and to read the bills by title twice carried by voice; a subsequent motion to enact bills 3686–3688 as ordinances was approved. In a roll-call vote, Alderman Alvin Galloway, Alderman Hutchinson, Alderman Schneider and Alderman Campbell voted aye; Alderman Aiken and Alderman Metcalfe were recorded as absent. The clerk announced that all three bills passed as ordinances with four ayes and two absences.
The board took these actions as consent items; no separate public comment was recorded on the three measures during the meeting. The record read the titles of the three ordinances aloud before the roll call.
