Donald (staff member) told the council that a sewer line that once occupied the easement was removed long ago and that vacating the easement would help clear title for the property owners. He said this was the only blanket easement staff found that could be vacated without additional survey work.
The council conducted the final reading of the ordinance, a motion to approve was made and seconded from the floor, and a roll‑call vote recorded affirmative votes from council members present; the ordinance was adopted.
