The council set the consent agenda, read each bill twice by title, and then enacted bills number 3680 through 3682 into ordinances 25-056 through 25-058 by roll-call vote (6-0). No member opposed. The meeting record does not show extended discussion on these items; the board moved the bills through the required readings and adopted them as ordinances.
The engineering contract will authorize Cochran Engineering to provide design and related engineering services for the specified street and sidewalk projects; the supplemental MoDOT agreement is intended to govern program-level cooperation with the state highways commission. The opioid ordinance authorizes the city to enter and execute settlement agreements with participating opioid manufacturers to receive settlement funds under the national settlements.
