Grandview aldermen adopt ordinance declaring April 8 election results

The Grandview City Board of Aldermen approved Ordinance No. 7574, adopting the results of the April 8, 2025, general election that chose one alderman from each of the city’s three wards, a mayor and a municipal judge.

The measure began as Bill No. 7836. A board member, Oliver McHenry, moved that Bill No. 7836 be placed on first reading; a second was recorded on the record. During roll call, Aldermen Kendrick, Randolph, Maloney, Jones and Rousey voted “aye.” A motion for second reading was made by Alderman Randolph and the board later moved for final passage; the ordinance was assigned number 7574 after the vote.

The ordinance formally records the election outcome in Grandview’s municipal record and cleared the way for administration of oaths to those elected.
