The North Aurora Board of Trustees voted unanimously Monday to adopt the village budget for fiscal year 2025-26.
The budget was first presented at the committee of the whole meeting on March 3 and revisited on March 17 and April 7, staff said. “No changes have been made since then, so the budget that was presented that night was the final, up for vote tonight,” Staff member Jason said before trustees moved to approve the ordinance.
The adoption came by roll call with Trustees Christiansen, Curtis, Gaitley, Lowery, Nejvesg, and Salazar voting yes. The vote followed the standard committee-of-the-whole review process the village uses to finalize its annual budget.
The board did not raise additional changes during the meeting. The ordinance approving the budget will be used by village staff to guide spending for the coming fiscal year.
