Addison approves multi‑year dispatch agreements with Addison Fire Protection District and Wood Dale

The village approved two three‑year intergovernmental agreements (IGAs) to continue Addison Consolidated Dispatch Center services for the Addison Fire Protection District and for the City of Wood Dale.
Staff described the agreements as consistent with prior IGAs. The Addison Fire Protection District’s agreement begins May 1, 2025, and runs three years with payments of $279,101 in year one, $302,279 in year two and $328,027 in year three; an annual alarm monitoring fee of $57,442 was also listed. The City of Wood Dale’s agreement also begins May 1, 2025, and lists year‑one payment of $522,532, year two at $565,926 and year three at $614,130.
Both resolutions were recommended by committee and approved by the village board in roll‑call votes recorded as affirmative. Presenters characterized the arrangements as continuing the consolidated dispatch model used by Addison and its partner agencies.
The agreements will remain in effect from May 1, 2025, through April 30, 2028, subject to the terms of the IGAs. The village indicated these payments will be remitted annually under the contract schedule.
