The Village of Addison voted May 5 to award bid 25-3-1 for traffic and regulatory signs to High Star Traffic of Bartlett, Illinois, in a not-to-exceed amount of $40,000.
Public Works staff reported two bids were received, and High Star Traffic was the low bidder with pricing favorable to the village. Staff said references checked favorably and that High Star would be a new vendor for the village. The unit-pricing basis will govern purchases under the contract.
The committee recommended approval and the board approved the award by roll call. Staff did not provide a staging or delivery schedule at the meeting.
