The Arts Commission announced that an online Achievement in the Arts nomination form is now live and discussed how to promote it to maximize nominations.
Commissioners said the form is hosted on the Arts Commission page of the city website and also available as a standalone link for QR codes. They asked staff to coordinate with the city communications officer and Webster Arts to share the link and to post the announcement in the city’s Friday communications digest, the Webster Kirkwood Times listings, the Post‑Dispatch listings and on school and university channels, including Webster University’s arts department.
Commissioners agreed to prepare a short blurb suitable for the city’s Friday page and to circulate a formatted release for consistent messaging. One commissioner volunteered to send the release to local listings and the Webster University art department; another said they would follow up with the communications office to ensure the nomination emails are routed to the correct inbox for review as nominations come in.
Commissioners also discussed using a Linktree‑style QR destination to combine the fundraiser, nomination form and other commission resources in a single landing page, but some commissioners cautioned against diluting the fundraising appeal. The commission said it will finalize outreach copy and routing details before wide distribution.
