Pool contractor told ARB cannot review deck; deck drawings needed for 512 Webster Park Court
Summary
A pool installation at 512 Webster Park Court was discussed but the board said it reviews vertical deck work, not pools; the applicant’s pool contractor was advised to have the deck contractor submit drawings to the city for board review and to proceed to permit review for the pool if zoning review is confirmed.

The board reviewed a submittal for work at 512 Webster Park Court but found no deck drawings, which the board needs to review any vertical site improvements. Anthony from Hogan Pools joined by Zoom and said he was responsible for the pool; he confirmed the deck work was being done by another contractor and that no plans for the deck had been supplied to the board.
Board members explained that the Architectural Review Board evaluates built vertical decks and associated site improvements, not the pool shell itself. Staff told the pool contractor that once zoning review is confirmed the pool drawings would proceed to permit review, but the deck contractor must submit vertical-deck drawings to the city for ARB consideration.
No board vote was taken on the pool; the action items were procedural: the deck contractor should submit drawings for ARB review, and the pool contractor should follow up through zoning and permit review as advised by staff.
