Finance committee amends minutes, adopts standing rule requiring reports one week before meetings

The Branson Finance Committee voted to amend its January meeting minutes and adopted a standing rule requiring committee materials to be submitted at least one week before regular meetings.

The committee, chaired by the Mayor, approved a motion to amend the minutes to record two items discussed previously: that monthly finance reports be submitted one week in advance of meetings and that the committee receive more detailed breakdowns of city spending with the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). "I'd be happy to make it a motion," said Glenn when offering the amendment; the committee then voted to approve the amendment and to approve the amended minutes.
