Neighbors had pressed the commission during a public hearing for stronger protections, arguing that Liston Avenue and the single ingress/egress route used now are too narrow and unprotected for large events. “Just imagine if there were some type of emergency at the venue, a fire, medical emergency, or even a shooting,” resident Scott Carson told the commission, questioning whether emergency vehicles could reach the site if parking and circulation are inadequate.
