Trenton City Council on March 17 approved a resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of 2025 capital improvement bonds โ limited-tax general obligation bonds โ to support the Rotary Park project.
City Administrator Dean Creech asked the council for a roll-call vote, saying he had consulted the city attorney and need not read the full document aloud. The clerk conducted the roll call and the motion carried unanimously.
The vote clears the city to offer the bonds for sale; the transcript records no bond amount or sale schedule at the meeting. Mayor Rizzepa and council members present voted in favor. The council did not discuss final issuance timing or detailed financing terms during the public portion of the meeting.
The resolution is a preliminary step that authorizes the bonds to be sold; issuance and sale activity will follow administrative and statutory steps outside the council meeting record.
Council did not amend the resolution during debate and no substitute motions were recorded.
