District staff announced March 24 that registration for new students for the 2025–26 school year is open through the Aspen parent portal and on the district website. Families needing language interpretation or help with registration were directed to the Welcome Center at 148 Concord Street, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The district also scheduled a night registration event for Thursday, April 17, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Beach Street School, 333 Beach Street.
The district reported that its second Spring into Summer resource fair, held this week in partnership with Manchester Proud, drew more than 600 attendees and featured more than 40 community partner organizations. Officials said the event connected families with information on summer camps, activities and student job opportunities; the resource booklet distributed at the event includes partner contact information and multilingual QR codes.
Superintendent staff encouraged families who could not attend to visit the Welcome Center for materials. Committee members praised staff and volunteers for organizing the fair and noted the event's scale and community participation.
The district also noted several upcoming family-oriented events: the third annual community sports night at Memorial High School (scheduled for Tuesday, 6:30–7:30 p.m.), and the city's St. Patrick's Day Parade on Elm Street (scheduled for Sunday at noon), where high school bands will participate.
Why it matters: Registration dates, in-person registration help, and large community resource events affect families' ability to enroll and access summer supports; the district highlighted multilingual supports and partnerships with community organizations.
