Board members left the public meeting for a separate Zoom meeting to hold the closed session; Emily, a district staff member, confirmed she received the separate meeting link before the board logged off. The presiding board member said the board anticipated returning at 6:30 p.m.; the public meeting resumed at 6:31 p.m.
No details about the subject of the confidential legal matter were disclosed in the public remarks. The presiding board member closed the brief public portion by saying, “See everybody on Thursday night.”
