The Planning Commission approved an amendment to the Adams Dairy Landing master alternative sign plan to allow a ground‑mounted monument sign for McAllister's Deli at 1221 NE Coronado Drive with one staff condition.
BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. — The Blue Springs Planning Commission on May 12 approved an amendment to the Adams Dairy Landing master alternative sign plan to allow a ground‑mounted monument sign for McAllister’s Deli at 1221 Northeast Coronado Drive.
Staff said the proposed monument sign would sit in an existing landscape island approximately 16 feet from the southern property line and that proposed materials and colors are intended to blend with surrounding buildings. "Staff has reviewed the proposed signage and finds that the request is consistent with the intent and overall aesthetics of the development, and staff recommends approval of the master alternative sign plan amendment with the one condition outlined in the staff report," Planner Frey said.
The commission moved to approve case ASP 03259530 with the staff condition; the motion passed on a voice vote. No opposition or public comment was recorded in the hearing.
The approval allows the applicant to proceed with final sign fabrication and installation subject to the staff condition noted in the planning report.
