Commissioner Buck seconded the motion; the court approved the proclamation by voice vote.
The court did not attach funding or a county program to the proclamation; it is an official recognition only. The commissioners thanked therapy-animal teams for assisting law enforcement, emergency services and health-care providers in difficult situations.
