Multiple residents and teachers urge council to support Lake Havasu Unified School District staff

Other speakers, including Dana Rickard and Corey Porter, echoed the call for the council to avoid social-media criticism of school staff and to publicly back educators, saying strong local schools help attract professionals, including medical providers, to the city. Tim Nelson and additional speakers praised a specific district leader and urged the community to value long-term staff contributions.
Council members listened; speakers requested continued visibility and support at school events. The council did not take formal action during the meeting on school governance issues raised during public comment.
