The Tillamook County Board of Commissioners approved an intergovernmental subaward agreement with the Oregon Judicial Department to accept and pass through funds for the 20th Judicial District Treatment Specialty Court program.
Christopher Hamilton, the court’s treatment court administrator, told the board the subaward is largely an accounting formality to allow the county to accept grant funds and reimburse the court for coordinator training costs, including attendance at a national drug‑court professional training. Hamilton said the funds were already budgeted and that judicial administration required the subaward to pass money through the county’s accounting processes.
Commissioners expressed support for the specialty court program and the partnership with the judicial department. The board approved the subaward by voice vote.
