City clerk staff reported that the application met posting and fee requirements, that the location was properly zoned for a Series 7 license, and that no objections had been received. The applicant was present and available for questions.
Council member Cameron Moses moved to recommend issuance; the motion was seconded by Council member Jim Dolan and carried 7-0.
Staff noted that the city’s action is a recommendation to the state agency; final licensing authority rests with the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control.
