Greeley City Planning Commission approves three preliminary land-use requests

The Greeley City Planning Commission approved three land-use items after brief presentations and limited public comment.

The commission approved a preliminary subdivision (SUB2023-0020) to divide roughly 34.63 acres into 10 single-family lots, two out lots and dedicate right of way. The vote followed staff analysis that the proposal complies with the development code (staff cited “development code section 24-203 B1” during the hearing). The commission also recommended city council approval of a rezoning request, ZON2024-0005, from holding agriculture to residential estate for approximately 14.41 acres of a larger 132.17-acre parcel north of County Road 56 and east of 90 Fifth Avenue.
