Judge Gonzalez, presiding officer of the Greeley Liquor Licensing Authority, reviewed wholesale and warehouse affidavits and asked staff to confirm there were no remaining concerns. Miss Sunita (staff reviewer) and Miss Cranston (city staff present on the hearing) reported no outstanding issues. Judge Gonzalez said, “I'll find good moral character of the transfer,” and directed the clerk’s office to attach her signature and forward the application to the state. The applicant, identified in the record as Kibron Melisse, may continue operating under his temporary license; the applicant confirmed the temporary license expires May 9, 2025.
Because transfers do not require the authority to find the needs and desires of the community, the authority limited its review to the transfer paperwork and character determination. The clerk’s office was instructed to request an additional temporary license if the state final license does not arrive before the applicant’s temporary license expiration.
No objection to the transfer was recorded during the hearing, and Judge Gonzalez congratulated the applicant and wished him success in the operation of the business.
