Clark Police promote Andrew Medeiros and Michael Ciaccio to sergeant ranks

Sergeant Andrew Medeiros graduated from Rider University (2009) with a bachelor's degree in finance, completed New Jersey Police Training Commission instruction in 2013, served with the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office (June 2013–March 2015) before joining Clark Police in April 2015, and served on a Union County Prosecutor's homicide task force detail in 2018. The department listed awards including an honorable service award (February 2015), a lifesaving award (2018) and a platoon award (2023); it also noted traffic-specialty certifications and advanced homicide-investigation training.
Detective Sergeant Michael Ciaccio is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran (2005–2009, deployed to Iraq), earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from John Jay College (2010) and a master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University (2012). He was hired by the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office in 2013, transferred to Clark Police in 2015, and served in the detective bureau and patrol division in subsequent years. The department said Ciaccio has received two platoon awards during his Clark service.
