Controlling Board Receives Final Collective Bargaining Agreement for Ohio State Troopers; Agreement Ratified Through June 30, 2027

The Ohio Controlling Board heard a brief presentation on April 29 and received the final collective bargaining agreement between the State of Ohio and the Ohio State Troopers Association at its May 5 meeting.
Kristen Rankin, deputy director with the Office of Collective Bargaining in the Department of Administrative Services, told the board the Ohio State Troopers Association represents approximately 1,500 employees in the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Rankin said the agreement follows the pattern set by a prior OCSCA agreement, has been ratified by the union, and will be in effect through June 30, 2027. The presentation was the meeting’s final activity, and the board adjourned thereafter.
