Commissioner Myers called Scott “an amazing resource” and said the county should “figure out how to cultivate the next generation” of volunteers and leaders to replace aging community leaders. Commissioner Krickus highlighted a recent ranking, saying, “Morris County was ranked number 23 nationwide, number 2 in the state,” a comparison the commissioner used to praise the county’s economic position and local government stewardship.
