Board members said they do not recall the Treasure House accepting plug-in electrical items in the past and asked whether formal acceptance guidelines exist.
Select Board members agreed to pass the issue to the Solid Waste Committee for a definitive policy recommendation and to ask Madeline (a Treasure House volunteer/organizer) and Solid Waste Committee members to confirm current practice and any written policy. One Select Board member offered to raise the subject at the upcoming Solid Waste Committee meeting and to ask for copies of any posted instructions or volunteer waivers.
