Commission adopts revised 2025 meeting schedule, moves most meetings to Thursdays

The Winchester Town Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission voted unanimously to adopt a revised 2025 schedule that moves most regular meetings from Wednesday to Thursday, beginning with the May meeting.
The commission agreed to hold the April meeting on its regular Wednesday date (April 16) and move the May meeting to Thursday, May 15. Remaining regular meetings for the year were adopted as: June 18, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20 and Dec. 18. The commission noted Juneteenth (June 19) would remain a holiday so no change was needed for June. Commissioners also discussed hybrid-meeting options and confirmed that special meeting notice rules (24-hour requirements for all-remote special meetings) still apply.
A motion to accept the revised schedule passed unanimously. The commission asked staff to circulate the new calendar and to coordinate availability if afternoon special meetings are later needed to handle heavy application workloads.
The revised schedule will be posted and the commission will follow normal notice procedures for any special or hybrid meetings.
