After a motion and second, the board voted unanimously to authorize the mayor and the town manager to cosign the letter with the committee chair.
The manager said the DOT commissioner had been informed of the issue at a recent visit but that persistent attention from the town and a cosigned letter could help move the matter forward prior to a deeper drawdown.
Ending: The mayor and manager were directed to sign and send the committee’s letter to DOT; no separate funding or mitigation plan was adopted at the meeting.
