Commissioners asked staff to add the item to a future agenda (October was suggested) for a proposed five‑year maintenance plan and to provide specifications for how often and where sand should be placed. The commission discussed modest annual maintenance—dragging and harvesting sand during drawdowns—and larger restorations on a multi-year schedule as alternatives to frequent importation.
