Selectmen approve reappointments, acknowledge resignations; one nomination fails to carry

The Winchester Town Board of Selectmen Monday reappointed Renee Waldron and Amanda Hill to the Conservation Commission and accepted resignations from Leanne Marvin (Conservation Commission), Christopher Bourne (Economic Development Commission) and Willard Platt (Conservation Commission).
The board also considered several nominations. A motion to appoint Hillary Johnson to the Inland Wetlands Commission did not carry after a 3–3 vote. The board approved Jamie Culligan for the Inland Wetlands Commission (term to April 2027) and appointed Culligan to the Economic Development Commission as well (term to April 2030). Officials said the town will update commission vacancy listings on the town website.
Officials thanked departing volunteers for their service and encouraged residents to apply for open positions. No contested appeals or hearings were recorded at the meeting.
