Johnson County deputy health director asks committee to restore statewide LEPP base grants with $1.54 million request

"We would like to see LEPP restored to what it was doing for counties from 1989 to 2012, where all counties that applied were eligible to get funding, under the formula as defined under '28 dash 66 dash 2,'" Kriesel said. He told members that fiscal 2024 funding resumed LEPP but that recent awards were targeted grants limited to a handful of counties rather than base grants available to all applicants.
