Supervisors approve IT support contract, leases, tobacco license and medical examiner agreement

A motion to approve the contract was moved and seconded and passed on a voice vote.
Supervisors approved two leases for fiscal year '26: one with 43 North Iowa and one with Onward Therapy. Onward Therapy requested the option to prepay a full fiscal year; staff confirmed with county finance that prepayment is allowed but nonrefundable if the tenant vacates midterm. Motions to approve each lease were moved, seconded and approved on voice votes.
The board approved a tobacco license application for Casey's Marketing (store number 4504). County staff noted the licensing process is now handled online.
Supervisors also approved a two‑year medical examiner service agreement with the hospital following a review by Kim Price; staff said the investigator Aaron Miller performs most examinations. The board moved, seconded and approved the agreement by voice vote.
Each of these items was moved, seconded and approved on voice votes recorded as "aye," and the board took no further substantive action on the items at the meeting.
