The Allen County Board of Commissioners on April 4 approved a package of infrastructure and property actions including acceptance of an INDOT 50/50 local road-and-bridge matching grant for up to $1,500,000, agreements for roundabout engineering, multiple concrete-street repair contracts, a contract change order for perimeter work at the Rousseau Center and an INDOT amendment for a bridge replacement.
Bill Hartman of the Allen County Highway Department presented the Community Crossings grant award, saying the county is eligible for up to $1.5 million under the program and plans a set of resurfacing and drainage projects across northern and southern Allen County.
