Hartman said the grant will fund a design study for a Scott Road grade separation just south of the Bass Road project and that the county plans to commit $100,000 of highway funds toward a roughly $500,000 projected study cost, describing the arrangement as an 80/20 split. Commissioners moved, seconded and approved acceptance of the grant and the designation of Hartman as the grant signatory.
