Mister Westhoff explained that Vision 4 revised its lot layout after identifying the unrecorded sewer pipe; the city negotiated an easement that the presentation said would be recorded after Vision 4 signs the agreement and the city accepts it. Staff stated the city paid $10,000 to secure the easement.
Commissioners asked about setbacks relative to the easement. Staff said the recorded grant is a 10-foot easement, meaning construction could occur up to the easement line but the easement leaves room for maintenance access if work is required. "So they could build right up to the easement line... that leaves the room to get in and do the work if we need to," staff said in response to a question.
The Commission adopted Resolution No. 3404 by voice vote (4 ayes, 1 nay). Ending
