Councilman Zach summarized the HR EDC meeting that preceded the council session and said the committee recommended approving renewals while identifying six properties that were deficient in at least one requirement. The council motioned to adopt the committee’s recommendations, and the motion passed by voice vote.
Staff reported that letters had been drafted and sent to the affected property owners informing them of the deficiencies and that those properties would be re‑evaluated during next year’s CF1 renewal process with the state. Council discussed that some deficiencies reflect scheduling or factors outside property owners’ control and noted staff would monitor progress.
