Brandon Warren, an Indianapolis resident, told councilors during the meeting’s public comment period that overflowing parent pickup traffic on 60 Third Street is an ongoing problem that needs to be fixed.
Warren said he was speaking on behalf of the ongoing traffic issue at 60 Third Street affecting Fall Creek Valley and a neighboring elementary school and provided his address as 6456 Royal Oakham Place, Indianapolis, Indiana 46236. “This is an ongoing issue that has to be fixed. Like, there’s nothing else to it,” he said.
The comment was delivered during the council’s public comment period; the transcript shows no related motion, vote or follow-up direction recorded during the meeting. After public comments the meeting was adjourned for the evening.
The transcript did not include details on the specific times of day the overflow occurs, whether the schools or municipal staff had been notified previously, or any proposals to modify traffic flow, signage, or parking enforcement.
