The commission recorded that disclosure on the public record before voting.
Commissioners were told HWC has previously worked on the Trades District design and is working on the Record Street reclassification; staff emphasized that the bid-award recommendation will include responsiveness and responsibility analyses and will be returned to the commission for award.
Next steps: Staff will seek the INDOT permit; once issued HWC may proceed with solicitation under the amended scope and bring bid recommendations back to the commission for final contract award.
