The Louisiana House of Representatives convened at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge on April 22, 2025, and adopted more than 20 ceremonial resolutions by voice vote or unanimous consent while introducing and referring dozens of bills to committee for later consideration.
Many of the measures the House adopted were ceremonial resolutions honoring organizations, institutions and individuals — designations that included Black Farmers and Growers Day, Coca-Cola United Day at the Capitol, recognition of Southern University System officials and multiple university and community commendations.
