The Muncie City Board of Public Works and Safety on March 12 approved $819,250 in claims and adopted its minutes from the March 5 meeting.
Claims presenter Craig Wright told the board the weekly report contained routine utility payments, a payout to GM Development for fire station construction and salt purchases split between the Santeria District and the city. The board voted to approve the claims by voice vote; no opposition was recorded.
The board also moved to adopt the minutes of the March 5 meeting as presented and approved them by voice vote. Board members Will Mauer and Linda Gregory were present for the meeting; Ted Baker was absent.
The board moved on to new business after the approvals and later adjourned.
