Board members discussed two infrastructure items: a Prairie Creek Trail phase 3 contract was on the agenda for review and the board deferred final action pending a written response from American Water on easement/coordination concerns. The parks director said Flatland, the trail project manager, did not object to a one-month delay to secure that confirmation.
The meeting closed after a public introduction from Zion (Marwin) Strong, who described plans for a summer-long basketball league at McCullough Park and said he will provide insurance and security documentation through the parks office.
