MUNCIE, Ind. — The Muncie Common Council on March 3 introduced and voted on a slate of ordinances and resolutions affecting zoning, annexation, public safety salaries and collective-bargaining agreements.

The council handled a mix of introductions (first readings), suspensions of the rules to allow immediate adoption, and roll-call approvals. Several zoning items were introduced for future action; separate motions and roll-call votes approved a number of items on the meeting agenda.

- Ordinance 29-24: Withdrawn on request by sponsor (motion recorded). Outcome: withdrawn.

- Ordinance 30-24 (Heron Point annexation): "An ordinance of the City of Muncie annexing certain territory . . . portions of Huron Point neighborhood."
