The Planning Commission approved a final site plan and a requested rear-setback reduction for an auto detailing business on Lot 7, Beck Crossing (301 Enchanted Garden Lane), submitted by Seahawk Corporation.
City staff said the lot is roughly half an acre and that the petitioner requested a 10-foot rear setback where the district standard is 20 feet. "The petitioner is requesting final site plan approval for Lot 7 for the purpose of establishing an auto detailing business," staff said, noting the parcel depth makes standard setbacks challenging and that most technical comments had been addressed.
Staff recommended approval, calling the project consistent with the comprehensive plan for commercial uses. The commission approved the final site plan and the setback request on roll call (Beecher, Osborne, Newbill, Baker, Mishler — all voting yes). Staff said outstanding small comments are anticipated to be resolved between the petitioner and staff before permit issuance.
The approval is final action by the Planning Commission; the petitioner must complete any remaining technical corrections and obtain permits before development proceeds.
