Resident alleges staff misconduct over Ryan House; calls for staff accountability

He said staff later posted reports online only after litigation had been filed and criticized the administrator's conduct at a prior presentation, saying it amounted to a lie directed at the council and the public. Adams said his intent and that of a fellow commenter, Kim Foster, was to save the Ryan House, not to seek to remove staff, and he urged the council to demand honest, timely information from staff so elected officials can make informed decisions.
The council did not respond to the allegations during the public comment period and no action or staff response was recorded on the item at the July 21 meeting. The remarks were made as part of the public comment section of the agenda and were presented as the speaker's allegations; they were not introduced as formal charges or as part of an agenda item requesting investigation.
